Overall – I was telling a friend the other day that I fear for this Wrestlemania being like the 25th anniversary PPV where there are high calibur matches but all were weak in the actual match, this turns out to almost be just like it and like the 25th WM, it was the Undertaker’s Streak match that saved the day
I suspect that the second Rock/Cena match wouldn’t be as alluring as last year’s WM as everyone thought it was just going to be the “Once In A Lifetime”, oh how the WWE love to play with us, not to mention I hear that Rock might get involved in the build up to Wrestlemania 30
I really think that the Undertaker’s Streak has gone on for long enough, Taker should have retired it at 20-0 but I hear that Taker was in need of some funding so they gave him this match as a jackpot for him, I watched on TV not long ago that Taker was coming to the UK on the WM Revenge Tour for the first time in 4 years, as nice is that was, he should really retire his career if he is to not do himself too much damage as he is getting quite old now
Sad news in the world of wrestling as WWE legendary manager, Paul Bearer aka Percy Pringle, has passed away at the age of 58
Paul Bearer was the manager to The Undertaker in his early days and throughout the attitude era whilst making the odd cameo appearance in the later days with Kane
The news was confirmed from WWE themselves on Tuesday, no reason for his passing has been revealed but with his constant health problems due to his weight, I assume it has something to with that if anything
I grew up loving Undertaker and Paul Bearer and I was actually almost in tears, on his twitter and pictures he shows of his family, he was such a kind and amazing individual and I always followed his tweets and photos
It is sad to see such an amazing manager of the WWE pass away and I hope Vince gives him a Hall of Fame position as he damn well deserves it!
Rest In Peace Paul Bearer, we will never forget you….. Oh Yessss!
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 200,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 4 years for that many people to see it. Your blog had more visits than a small country in Europe!
A magazine page scan from a popular japanese magazine, Jump Magazine, revealed today the confirmation of the next series of Koei’s famous video game, Dynasty Warriors…. With the reveal of the 8th series, Dynasty Warriors 8
Even though Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires has yet to be released Koei have apparently gone on ahead and announced the next series of Dynasty Warriors early to shock us all, even though we knew it was coming, the news this soon has taken me by surprise!
Now I can’t translate japanese unfortunately but a friend of mine did and what we have here is the popular Dynasty Warriors character, Zhao Yun from the kingdom of Shu and a brand new character coming to the 8th series, this character in blue has been translated to as Yue Jin, a warrior from the kingdom of Wei, pretty exciting stuff!
Dynasty Warriors 8 has been set for release in Japan for 2013, although nothing as of yet for a overseas release but it is VERY early to tell anything yet, watch this space!
EDIT:: A second character has been announced in more magazine scans!
This guy is Li Dian from the kingdom of Wei, with him and Yue Jin, if anyone remembers the battle of He Fei, these will make that level much more epic!
This photo is of Jerry Lawler in the hospital a few days ago, he is recovering well from what doctors have been saying, he was last tested for any brain damage after his heart attack during WWE Raw on monday, lucky there was no damage to his brain whatsoever.
From reports that I’ve read up, Jerry did complain about his chest pains a few days before Raw came on air, although from what the doctors have said, Jerry is physically fit for his age, just that heart attacks can happen to anyone no matter how fit you are, Lawler stays active most of the time and never has drugs, cigarettes or alcohol the doctors said
His children gave a note that Jerry will be able to return to the WWE and maybe even wrestle again, even his doctors said the same thing, on thursday, Jerry started walking for the first time since the heart attack but was said that he has trouble remembering things although the doctors said that his memory will return overtime as his sedative wears off (He was heavily sedated on monday and tuesday), his family and friends are pleased with his progress of recovery and I’m sure everyone else is
Jerry Lawler was thankful for the support everyone has been giving him, he even posted up a TOUT about it (To which I haven’t watch yet, sorry), Jerry could be released from hospital as early as this weekend, let’s hope so, keep recovering Jerry!
WWE superstar, Hall of Famer and commentator, Jerry “The King” Lawler, he suffered a heart attack during WWE Raw last night.
He was taken away and taken to the hospital leaving fellow commentator, Michael Cole, to finish the show off on his own, his family and the WWE admitted to what happened and last reports I read up, he is in a steady condition and breathing on his own now, which is always good to hear at least
Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, said that one reason this could’ve happened is possibility of block arteries but we won’t know for certain until the hospital gives full details on his condition, we all pray for his health and to have a good and speedy recovery!
(#PrayForLawler is trending on Twitter if you want to contribute to Jerry Lawler’s recovery)
UPDATE – A new update has arrived not long ago about the condition of Jerry Lawler, his ex-wife mentioned that he is “Heavily sedated” and has said that it is clogged arteries, he is in for a Angioplasty which involves blowing a little balloon inside him to open up his blocked up arteries and then inserting some mesh tubing to keep them open, sounds complex.
Jim Ross has said on twitter not too long ago that “Lots of speculation re: my dear friend @JerryLawler. He’s stable & being expertly cared for in Montreal following heart attack. Stable=good”
At least his health is being taken care of and is in good hands, I doubt he will return to WWE soon, again, praying for his health and good recovery!

During late 2003/2004 in Neoseeker, I was switching between Dynasty Warriors and Devil May Cry forums since they were the major games I was playing at the time and then started playing a game called Kingdom Hearts which I thought was a very unique RPG action game, I joined it’s forum section in Neoseeker and didn’t realise how crammed the place was, so many people with an average posts per day rating of about 120 to 150!
The Kingdom Hearts forum did have a moderator at the time, can’t fully remember his name, think it was around the lines of FenriZ 666, Not completely sure since that was like the last time I met the guy, not long after I started in the place, he left his mod job and just a few weeks later, a new mod took his place, called DragonFang, nice guy but he didn’t really last long as the mod since he had some family issues or something and asked the admins to demote him.
This sparked a mass overhaul of moderation requests for the KH forum, during 2004, I was the most helpful member of that forum, with wave after wave of solving people’s questions on the game and where to go and such, after DragonFang demoted from there, I was announced as the Kingdom Hearts Master due to me fully completing the game and one of the few people who made a FAQ to all the big bosses such as Sephiroth and the Ice Titan.
I started gaining quite a few loyal fans, people such as Devil Link and Mount, and I thought that I might aswell send my invite off to the admins to become moderator of Kingdom Hearts, when I announced that I have done so on the KH’s general discussion thread, the rest of the members kinda lost hope of them gaining the mod place, I felt bad but was also laughing at the humour side of it
At first, I didn’t want to send the invite for mod place since I didn’t think I could take the responsibilities of a moderator, I mean I was a mod before, for about 6 months, I was mod of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duellist Of The Roses, I haven’t talked about it since my job there only lasted 6 months and that section was dying down when I got the position anyway so it’s not important….
Anyway, before I sent the invite, I was given a PM by one of the website’s Super Moderators, his name was called BloodSin, a very nice guy that I talk to everynow and again over at the Vagrant Story forum. He sent me a personal message pretty much saying that he was studying certain people after the last mod retired, he told me that I was one of the best guys for the job of moderation of KH forum, I was quite moved but such confidence that this upper class mod has on me and so with this in mind, I sent out my invite and had to wait for the answer
The waiting would last about 2 weeks, it was quite an agonizing 2 weeks, just waiting for a reply, then when the time came, I received a PM from the special member, Moderator Requests, who focuses just on the mod invites, hence the username. He said to me that after some serious competition of the place of mod of Kingdom Hearts, I was the one their choose, my heart almost stopped at what was in the PM and just a few days later, my username, Martinwalker8, was on the top of the forum, “Moderator – Martinwalker8″, I really couldn’t have been any happier!
In part 3, I will talk about some of the things I have done in the Kingdom Hearts forum of Neoseeker and that my season as mod of the forum lasted about a massive 18 months!
April 1st 2012
Match 1 – Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus (World Title)
Winner – Sheamus
Match 2 – Kane vs Randy Orton
Winner – Kane
Match 3 – Cody Rhodes vs Big Show (IC Title)
Winner – Big Show
Match 4 – Beth Phoenix + Eve vs Kelly Kelly + Maria Menounos
Winner – Maria & Kelly
Match 5 – The Undertaker vs Triple H (Hell in a Cell, Taker’s Streak on the line, Shawn Michaels as special ref)
Winner – The Undertaker (20-0)
Match 6 – Team Laurinaitis vs Team Teddy Long (Winner owns rights to GM both Raw and Smackdown)
Winner – Team Laurinaitis
Match 7 – C.M Punk vs Chris Jericho (WWE Title, if Punk is DQ’d, Jericho wins title)
Winner – C.M Punk via Submission
Match 8 – The Rock vs John Cena (Once In A Lifetime Match)
Winner – The Rock
Overall – The first hour was just awful, seriously, the Sheamus/Bryan match lasted a mere 18 seconds, I wouldn’t call that a title match by a long shot and most Diva matches bore me anyway. The best matches of the night and what made this Wrestlemania special was the Jericho/Punk, Undertaker/HHH and Rock/Cena matches, they were fantastic and lived up to their hype!
With the Undertaker 20-0, he has reached another milestone in WWE history, it’s just a question of will he retire his streak or carry on…. In terms of the Rock and Cena match, the outcome was quite surprising with The Rock beating John Cena in a actual clean fight, I wonder what will happen on RAW the following day….
It’s been nearly 10 years since I began my forum life so I thought I might share where I started in all this….
It all started late 2002 where I decided to do something different for a change, I was on my late year of high school and I needed something to take my mind off the stress of exams and big projects. After a few hours of searching, I came across a big forum website that came into existence not too long ago, a few years roughly.
This forum website is called Neoseeker, some of you who read this might recognise the name or even been there (Or still do go there), I thought I’d join this site, but I wasn’t too sure at first so I roamed the site as a GUEST to see what all the fuss is about.
Wasn’t long before I got deep in conversations with members and other guests, the first forum area of the site I went into was Dynasty Warriors 2, the area wasn’t that busy or had alot of threads but there was enough visitors at the time and there I met my first forum friend there, goes by the name of Deathman48, he always had a Cyberdemon from DooM as his avatar and we got on pretty quickly.
After about a month or two of being a guest I decided to become a member of the forum website and so at the beginning of 2003, I made my first account, martinwalker8, I named myself, daft username but I wasn’t really good with name making back then
My first step of being a new member was to get to know my surroundings in the website, after getting some images together, I stocked up my avatar and signature and away I went, roaming the website’s many forum areas and threads, I went back to Dynasty Warriors 2 and then went to Dynasty Warriors 3 along with Deathman48, this area, since DW3 was recently released, it got alot of people posting on it and it had it’s own forum moderator, can’t remember the mod’s name properly, think he was called Paigne or something, memory is a little fuzzy and we barely talked, which I understood since the area was packed with DW fans!
Not long after I started posting in the Devil May Cry area and that place was pretty busy too but not quite enough to have a full-time mod, the recent mod of there just left due to it being a quiet but not many heard of that game at the time and I just loved the game to no end…..
I’m going to post my forum life in several parts so I’m going to end my first year in Neoseeker there for now so I can try to remember more of what happened haha!
I’ll post up part 2 soon….
