Assassin’s Creed III release date already confirmed!
I was just looking through some gaming websites, just for some usual intel and I found this interesting piece of evidence for the upcoming UbiSoft game, Assassin’s Creed III.
I found this information just today on the vg247′s website and it says about the release date of the game and the scenario for a possible story plot, below is what is said on the website:
“Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed III will be released on October 30.
The date was given in a financial call to investors today. Details regarding the game are minute at this point, but it will star a new protagonist. Various locations have been rumored over recent months, with Egypt, China, and America during the Revolutionary period the running favorites. The French Revolution has also been mentioned.”
The information on the game’s release (Alongside Far Cry 3) is actually supposed to be released tomorrow in Europe but this was leaked sooner than Ubisoft expected.
So far from what I’ve read up, Assassin’s Creed III is set for release on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and possibly PS Vita, so everyone will get a chance to play this, I’m very curious on what it will actually be about….
Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road Trailer + Screenshots
Bethesda recently released the official trailer to the upcoming DLC for Fallout New Vegas, Lonesome Road.
The story behind Lonesome Road brings the Courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original “courier six”, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum chip at the start of the main storyline in Fallout: New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job – a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by frequent earthquakes and violent storms. This is the fabled location of the battle between the Courier and Ulysses. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.
The trailer to Lonesome Road can be viewed below:
Some screenshots of the DLC for New Vegas can be shown below, click the thumbnails for a large showing of each picture
Timesplitters 4 still possible?
People thought it would’ve been the end for the popular shoot m up series, Timesplitters after the company, Free Radical Design, went bust a couple of years ago, not long after they announced Timesplitters 4. Since then, the 4th installation of the popular series went dark and the rumours began spreading about it.
Now, it’s been known that Free Radical Design has become Crytek UK and was one of the companies behind the superb Crysis 2 game and now it’s been announced that the new Crytek UK has said that the fourth Timesplitters game isn’t dead yet, during this years E3 but not actually at the event, Crytek have said that this game will be announced soon.
A recent article from the guys at shoptonews.net said that in the recent article from the recent issue of Official PlayStation Magazine showed a picture of the confirmed TS4 game said only this -
‘Gun-wielding monkeys are finally making a comeback! A fourth Timesplitters title is to be announced soon’
This will give hope to those Timesplitter fans that the once was Free Radical Design’s one of a kind shooter is returning and under the new company Crytek, could this mean the new TS game might have Crysis 2 style graphics?
If so, I’m so up for that!!!
Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues Trailer
The trailer to the upcoming DLC for Fallout New Veags, Old World Blues, has been released a few days ago. The video is a bit of a “Break from the norm” sort, showing a more humorous side to the game and it has been said that this 3rd major DLC will be the most humorous of all the Fallout New Vegas downloadable contents and from the trailer you will be below, they weren’t kidding.
Old World Blues DLC will be released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC from July the 19th, expect it to be roughly the same price as the other two DLCs for New Vegas, from the looks of this trailer, I’d say expect the unexpected, it’s a bit of a mind ****!
Dragon Age II: Legacy DLC Release Date
Electronic Arts has announced the release date for the upcoming DLC for Dragon Age II, Legacy.
Legacy is based on the story of Hawke’s father. The DLC will bring new creatures, new story new challenges and I have read up that you will have to use environment better to progress. You’ll also be facing a powerful enemy which the Grey Wardens kept secret, just because it is so powerful.
It will be released on July 26th for Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3 and EA also said that there will be future DLC content for Dragon Age II soon (Surprise, surprise….)
EDIT:: Dragon Age on YouTube recently released the trailer to the Dragon Age II DLC, Legacy, check below for the video!
Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues Information

Good news for Fallout New Vegas fans, the upcoming third major DLC, Old World Blues has got a official release date plus I have some information for what’s it about and a type of overview on what’s in store for players as they enter this DLC, first off, the release date.
Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues DLC will be released on July the 19th 2011 and it will be released for Xbox 360 via Live marketplace, PC and Playstation 3 via PSN on the same week so no hard feelings to any delays or exclusives this time around. Prices, well, you can probably take a wild guess, it will probably be the same as Honest Hearts and Dead Money but you have a couple of weeks to save up for it.
Story Plot
In Old World Blues you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You must scour the pre-war research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.
- Like all New Vegas add-ons, Old World Blues will raise the level cap by 5. Also, the add-on will offer a new trait (andrespec your own traits if you’ve already chosen them) that will allow you to cap your level at 30 (or current level if you’re already over 30).
- Old World Blues will, at some point, allow the player to alter the looks of their character.
- Equipment will not be stripped from the player at the beginning of this add-on, and it features an open-world setting.
- Like all New Vegas add-ons, companions cannot accompany the Courier to the new land.
- In Old World Blues, some robotic appliances have personalities, all with different voices.
- There will be a “home base” of sorts for use in this add-on.
Fallout: New Vegas – Honest Hearts Trailer
Bethesda Softworks submitted the official trailer to the upcoming Fallout: New Vegas downloadable content, Honest Hearts, earlier today, it shows what sort of people you will meet and face but it seems to be more of a tribal theme with possible “Factions” system in use here too, which will split the fans 50/50. Have a look for yourself in the embedded video below:
The DLC will be released this month, exact date is said to be the 17th of May, for all 3 consoles, Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3. Although with the PSN still down until the end of the month, no one knows when PS3 owners will actually get the DLC but Honest Hearts will be released for all 3 at the same time (If you minus out PSN for a second) so no exclusive head start for Xbox owners.
Fallout New Vegas DLCs Full Information
Yesterday, Fallout Wikia submitted a big detailed information on ALL THREE of the major DLCs for Fallout: New Vegas, to those who don’t know what they are, they are Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. On this submitted post, BETHESDA SOFTWORKS describes all three dlcs, what they are about, what we are expecting and when are their release dates, yes, you heard me right, RELEASE DATES!!!
Full detailed report from Bethesda (Thanks to Fallout Wikia for this)
“Three Additional Add-on Packs Releasing in Coming Months
for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Windows PCs
May 3, 2011 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced three downloadable content packs will be released in the coming months for Fallout®: New Vegas™. The three packs will be released simultaneously for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows-based PCs.
Honest Hearts™, Old World Blues™ and Lonesome Road™ will further expand upon Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas takes all the action, humor and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.
Available on May 17, Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.
In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You’ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.
Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job –a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.Reviews of Fallout: New Vegas have called the game as “an utterly essential purchase” (MSN UK) and as “addictively, rambunctiously fun” (Entertainment Weekly). The Associated Press awarded it a 4 out of 4 stars and said “Bottom Line: It’s a Blast”, while GameSpy gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars and called Fallout: New Vegas “one of the best games of the year.”
All downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas will be available for download on Xbox LIVE® for 800 Microsoft Points, the PlayStation®Network for $9.99, and both Steam and Direct2Drive for $9.99.”
As a big Fallout fan, I’m so looking forward to these DLCs aswell as any minor ones they may be releasing for New Vegas, unlike Dead Money, all of these DLCs will be released on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 simultaneously so no Xbox 360 exclusive “Before anyone else” thing, all Fallout players will get a fair share of the release date.

Additional information that Bethesda on what the DLCs also bring to the player (Again, thanks to Fallout Wikia for this)
Bethesda’s Matt Grandstaff has posted info on level cap in the upcoming Fallout: New Vegas add-ons in the Bethesda Forum.
“Each DLC will raise the level cap by 5. So including Dead Money, if you’ve got them all, you’ll have a cap of 50″
He also addressed concerns that the level cap increase might make the game too easy:
“And for you, I have good news. If you’re concerned that the new level cap increases will make the game too easy for you, I’ve got a couple things to note:
1) Congratulations on being hardcore
2) Old World Blues will offer a new trait (and respec your traits if you’ve already chosen them) that will allow you to cap your level at 30 (or current level if you’re already over 30).”
Asked whether players will be able to continue playing after the main quest is finished, he again confirmed that the game will still end with the Second Battle of Hoover Dam:
“Unrelated, wanted to note that none of the upcoming DLCs will allow you to play beyond the main quest (for the same reasons noted by the developers prior to the game’s release).”
Fallout New Vegas – Honest Hearts Leaked Images
The next major DLC to Fallout: New Vegas has been announced!
The upcoming downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas is to be called, Honest Hearts, from what is been told or at least, rumoured, about is that it’s set in (And possible around) a Church of Zion, no major information has been released but the banner above was revealed on April 21st.
The man in the banner could be the “Burned Man” Joshua Graham, but anymore information about this man remains to be seen as of yet but a gameplay image of the DLC was apparently “Leaked” on the Fallout Wikia page, check below for the leaked images
Again, information in its release date are yet to be confirmed but one thing has been made clear, this DLC, unlike Dead Money will be released on all version of Fallout: New Vegas at the same time, no Xbox 360 exclusive “Head Start” so PC and PS3 owners can breathe a sigh of relief.
Dead Space 2 in Dragon Age II?
I kid you not! I was looking through my Twitter page today and saw a post from the EA account (Go to http://www.EA.com or follow them on Twitter @electronicarts) about Dead Space 2 material in Dragon Age 2, I just had to take a look!
Here is how it goes, the armour of Isaac Clarke will be a DLC armour set to be used in Dragon Age 2 as part of a so called working coalition between Visceral Games and BioWare. This armour set, believe it or not, will be called “The Ser Isaac of Clarke” (How cheesy can you get? I was laughing for about 5 minutes!)
In order to get this DLC for Dragon Age 2, you will require to buy the Dead Space 2 game (And make sure that both games are for the same console!!!), the code can be found on the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Dead Space 2, although PS3 owners of the game will have to visit the http://www.DragonAge.com and follow the instructions there.
The EA website even says what each part of the armour gives you when wearing each part of the set:
Isaac’s Armour
- Heavy Armour
- Contains a rune slot
- Increases armour
- Requires high dexterity and cunning
Isaac’s Boots
- Increases armour
- Requires high dexterity and cunning
Isaac’s Gauntlets
- Increases armour
- Requires high dexterity and cunning
Isaac’s Helm
- Contains a rune slot
- Increases armour
- Critical damage factor Requires high dexterity and cunning
There is, however, a time limit to how long the codes can be used for, but it’s a MASSIVE time gap, the codes for the armour set will expire on the end of March 2012, so you go PLENTY of time to get a copy of both Dragon Age 2 and Dead Space 2 and receive the special armour set to use in Dragon Age 2.
Thanks to EA for sharing this information!!!
