You heard right TNA fans, for one night and one night ONLY, the six-sided ring that TNA was so famous for (And what made the company unique) will return for the Destination X PPV which will happen in July!
This is a one-time only thing though so don’t get over-excited, the ring will return to the squared layout after the PPV which sucks I know but these things happen for better or for worse. As we all know Hulk Hogan and Eric Bishoff removed the six-sided ring back in early 2010 when they became part of the business and we all pretty much hated them afterwards for doing that.
The gimmick was announced when the promotional poster for the Destination X PPV was revealed not long ago, you can see the poster in the image below and see for yourself, still I’m glad they are bringing back the unique ring layout even if it is for one night only
WWE released posters for the next 3 PPVs (Credit goes to Pro Wrestling Torch for this), they are:
- Night of Champions
- Hell In A Cell
- Bragging Rights
Night of Champions is the upcoming PPV on September 19th and features Kane on the front cover as he faces his brother, The Undertaker for the world heavyweight title
Hell In A Cell is the next PPV showing on October 3rd, the front cover shows The Undertaker, since he invented the match, it’s only right that he suits the image
The following PPV after Hell In A Cell is Bragging Rights, which shows on October 24th, the front cover shows The Miz, which suits his attitude since he “Brags” alot and as you can see at the bottom right of the poster, the PPV will be sponsored by the new Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 which is released in late October
